Our Story
Vonula London was founded by Ricky Manderson. Driving a black cab through the West End for years taught him something most cleaning contractors never learn: which streets you cannot park on, which buildings load from the rear, which squares are gridlocked at eight in the morning, and which service lifts you need booked a week ahead. That knowledge is why our teams arrive on time in postcodes where other contractors turn up late and apologise.
The company now focuses exclusively on commercial work. Building managers and managing agents responsible for luxury apartment complexes. Facilities leads in Grade A offices and headquarters. Operations managers in boutique hotels and private members’ clubs. Store managers in luxury retail. Business managers in high-end car dealerships. Site teams in schools. What they share is a building where presentation is part of the value, and a standard that cannot be allowed to drift. Domestic house cleaning is being phased out entirely.
We trade as Vonula Limited (company number 16607546, registered in England & Wales). The team is currently five cleaners, with a further five working part time, and we are actively hiring as more buildings come on.
Our coverage is deliberately tight. Marylebone, Mayfair, Fitzrovia, Soho, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Kensington, Holland Park and Paddington. A small radius means short travel between sites and quicker cover when someone is off.
Mission & Standards
Our mission is simple to state and hard to deliver: your building looks cared for every day, without anyone on your side having to manage it. That means the standard is written down, checked after each visit, and corrected by us rather than reported by you.
Every quote follows a free site visit. We walk the floors, the stairwells, the service areas and the parts of the building most contractors quote blind, then price the work that is actually in front of us. It is the only honest way to hold a price once the contract starts.
Standards are verified rather than assumed. Each visit closes with a check against the agreed scope agreed for your building, so a slipping standard is caught by us before it is noticed by a resident, a member, a guest or your board.
Every cleaner passes a strict selection process, is trained on your building and works a supervised period before going solo. Uniformed teams work quietly around your people, which matters in a members' club, a trading floor or a school corridor.
Team, equipment and products all come from us, including eco-friendly products and a complimentary air freshener on every visit. Nothing is drawn from your store cupboard or your facilities budget.
